LIFE OF A SEED

This lesson provides TK students with exposure to a kindergarten NGSS-inspired lesson that focuses on the life of a seed.  Students will plant seeds in the garden, make wildflower seed balls, and sort and count different kinds of seeds.

SEEDS to APPLES

This lesson provides TK students with exposure to a kindergarten NGSS-inspired lesson.  Students will learn about life cycles and have an opportunity to taste 3 varieties of apples.  They will also practice counting to tally the classroom's vote for favorite apple.

RAINBOW SNACKS

Students search for the colors of the rainbow in the garden and snack on fruits that represent different colors of the rainbow. Students learn that eating fresh fruits of different colors helps to keep them healthy.
