NATURE RANGERS

In this lesson, students learn all about gardens! They plant seedlings, become familiar with different garden tools, and have fun using their senses to explore nature!

GARDEN SNACKS

Students learn about the things that plants and animals need to survive and how to identify the six main parts of a plant. Students learn that the vegetables & fruits we eat are all parts of a plant.

SOIL EXPLORERS

Students investigate the contents of soil and conduct a search for living and non-living things in the school garden.

*Since this kit is heavy and hard to move, please coordinate scheduling this lesson on consecutive days with the other TK teachers in the district so that we can move it from one school to the next without having to bring it back to the Living Classroom office in between lessons.  Thank you!
